Our commitment
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML structure with a single clear heading hierarchy per page
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
- Visible keyboard focus indicators and a skip-to-content link
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA thresholds
- Forms with properly associated labels and clear error messaging
- Motion reduced automatically for visitors who request it in their system settings
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-time task. We review the site as we add content and welcome reports of anything that is difficult to use.
